NOMINATION OF A TEACHER in 1838:

Seen the formed demand by Mr. PADOVANI Martin, native from NOVELLA the 20/02/1820 and died the 29/12/1895.

Papers in support of, to knowledge,:
- 1° / patent of elementary primary instruction in date of last September 13,
- 2° / certificate of morality delivered in September 14 by the Mayor of Ajaccio,
- 3° / certificate of morality delivered in October 1st by the Mayor of Novella.
considering that the seat is vacant by resignation of the sieur ORABONA Jean Gilles.
After having taken previously the opinion of the local committee, in accordance with the article of the law of June 28, 1833, present the sieur PADOVANI Martin to the Committee of district, to the effect to be named Teacher of Novella.


He was a Teacher to NONZA between 1850 and 1856.
He was the son of Giovan Pietro and Somenica BELGODERE.
He married Rose ORABONA been born the 08/10/1815 and deceased the 08/07/1891, daughter of Michel and Jeanne Marie BELGODERE (made office of midwife)
